We are from the Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA), the oldest nonprofit organization in Boulder County, CO. For 96 years we have served the residents in need throughout our community.
While Boulder County is perceived as an affluent population, there are many families struggling to make ends meet. In fact, 1 out of every 5 Boulder residents earn under $25,000 a year.
EFAA helps those families in various different ways: rent, food, toiletries, minor medical expenses, etc. We also connect our clients with other resources in the community that could help them.
In 2012 we helped more that 19,000 families, gave more than $625,000 in financial assistance and gave more than 700,000 pounds of food. We need your help to go beyond that this year.
